btw wen i meant new chars... i meant new chars for experienced(those who can afford) players... not new to GW...
and bulltsmile wen u said "starter 'wpn" that was knda noobie...... this thread dont mean noobie wpns as in weapons for NOOBS... these are wpns that ppl think is too over rated or not supposed to be in the game.... but i guess u were just trying to sound funny and noobie... (no offense man... nothing personal its just my opinion)

There just common because they look better than all the others really so calling them n00b weapons is just stupid.

well as far as i see it, chaos axes, crystaline swords, and the like r popular, and there for expensive, for one reason, there look a hell of alot better than a battle pick or a forked sword, also they drop less often, and ppl like the feeling of being unique. even if to be "unique' they have to spend loads of money on the thing that everyone else wants i.e. req8 15^50 chaos axe(btw i'm selling one if anyone wants to buy). and hey if there werent different skins and more expensive, yet equal in battle, weapons and shields to save up for, this game would be really boring till the chapter 2 comes out.
just thought i'd add my 2 cents
p.s. razorstone=noobiest weapon ever ftw

Worst weapon? Just keep your starter rod for the Ele, Monk OR Necro. You'll see how "NOOB!!" it is then when you realise you're not doing enough damage or casting at the right time.

I think I'm kindof missing the definition of noob weapon. How is a 15>50 crystalline sword with +5 armor and a zealous mod any more "noobie" than a 15>50 forked sword with the same mods??
You might as well have created a thread "Put all the items which are very expensive and sought after here".

I believe none of those are noob weapons, but noob people who decide to buy those weapons for 500K gold or more just because the skin is more unique (talking about crystaline's here) :S
All of them have a purpose, even a Fiery Dragon and Icy Dragon Sword.
For the record I really hate the word noob and hate using it but since it was in the topic name I had no choice.

u always have a choice, u could turn off ur comp and walk away, or use one of the many different spellings, i.e. noob, newb, newbie, nube, nub, nubcake, noobcake, newbcake, nooblet, nublet, newblet, and of course newbus maximus

Fiery Dragon sword. Only because you cannot change the hilt, which means you are USELESS in the later areas that fire is ineffective against everything.
i.e. Ring of Fire*, Sorrow's Furnace flame djinns.
BTW most people don't bother customizing, making it worse. And... some people just get plain blue FDS and think they are so good after that...
